Grundy Center put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the AGWSR Cougars a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Grundy Center is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for AGWSR, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.

Grundy Center didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Hudson on the 24th. As for AGWSR, they have also already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Oelwein on the 24th.
