Baseball Recap: Attica Takes a Loss

Attica fell victim to Riverton Parke and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Ramblers of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Hayden Elliott was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. Attica is 3-1 when Elliott posts two or more stolen bases, but 8-9 otherwise.

This is the second loss in a row for Attica and nudges their season record down to 11-10. As for Riverton Parke, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Attica and Riverton Parke will both be playing Seeger the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Red Ramblers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
