Softball Recap: Greater Atlanta Christian Comes Up Short

Greater Atlanta Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Pickens Dragons, falling 15-7. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Greater Atlanta Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Pickens, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Atlanta Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Pickens, they will venture away from home to take on Dawson County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
