Soccer Game Preview: San Gorgonio vs. Indio

The San Gorgonio Spartans will head out to face off against the Indio Rajahs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Gorgonio's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was San Gorgonio who was credited with the win on Wednesday. They haven't had any issues with the Cats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

San Gorgonio will be up against a hot Indio squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Indio came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Coachella Valley.

Paola Sepulveda and Sarah Alvarado scored all three of Indio's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 46 goals.

Indio pushed their record up to 13-9-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for San Gorgonio, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3-4.
