Baseball Game Preview: Fieldcrest Knights vs. Seneca Fighting Irish

The Fieldcrest Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Seneca Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seneca took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fieldcrest, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Fieldcrest had just enough and edged out Dwight 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Seneca's offense. They lost 7-0 to St. Bede on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fieldcrest now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Seneca, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Fieldcrest came out on top in a nail-biter against Seneca in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
