Basketball Recap: Baker Wins Going Away Against Lee Vining

Baker lost to Lee Vining back in February of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Baker Braves took down the Lee Vining Tigers 32-14. That looming 32-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Braves yet this season.

Baker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jimena Galvez led the charge by going 6 of 13 en route to 17 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Galvez a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Janessa Meza, who posted six points and ten steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Baker and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Lee Vining, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
