Basketball Recap: Liberty Piles Up the Points Against Pleasant Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They really took it to the Pleasant Valley Bears for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-10 win. The team accrued 48 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Tula Sobrinski had a dynamite game for Liberty, putting up 11 points and eight steals. What's more, Sobrinski also racked up four rebounds, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Chloe Rumelhart, who posted eight points and three blocks.

Liberty now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Liberty will host Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will head out to square off against Allentown Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
