Basketball Recap: Glendale Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Glendale's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took down the West Branch Warriors 52-36. The Vikings pushed the score to 50-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Madison Peterson was her usual excellent self, putting up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Mcmillen, who posted ten points.

Glendale is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for West Branch, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale will venture away from home to square off against Ferndale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Branch has already played their next match (against Bucktail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
