Tift County's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Camden County Wildcats a 5-0 shutout. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Not much got past Lily Robinson, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Camden County off the board. Robinson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tift County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Brey, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Ella Bruce was another, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Tift County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive matchups.

Tift County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Camden County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.

Tift County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
