The Hartford Orioles will head out on the road to  square off against  the Homestead Highlanders  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  matchup.
On Thursday, Hartford came up short against Port Washington  and fell  3-1. The Orioles haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 While Hartford ultimately came up short, they really made  Port Washington work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-18, 24-26,  25-22.
 Despite their  defeat, Hartford saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Lydia Krasselt, who  had 21  assists and seven  digs, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was  Kora Kirsch, who  had 13  digs.
Meanwhile, Homestead also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cedarburg by a score of  3-1.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 18-25,  25-20.
 Hartford's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Homestead, they now  have a losing record of 9-10.
 Hartford couldn't quite get it done against Homestead in their previous meeting  back in September as they fell  2-0. Can the Orioles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
