The Winthrop Ramblers didn't have too much trouble with the Poland Knights on Friday as they won 21-6. The 21-point effort marked the Ramblers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Despite the loss, Poland still got an impressive performance from Damon Martin, who rushed for 133 yards and one score while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Martin showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 63 yards.

Winthrop's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Poland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Winthrop is taking a road trip to take on Mt. Blue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poland, they will be playing at home against Freeport at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
