The Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) football knocked off the host Poland Knights (Poland, ME), 21-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Ramblers now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Blue for a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. Winthrop will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 26-7 league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a D South contest, on Saturday, October 18. Poland will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Maranacook (Readfield, ME).
