The Mountain Valley Falcons football team (Rumford, ME), dropped 34-15 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Poland Knights (Poland, ME)

With the victory, Poland betters its record to 2-1 on the year. The Knights host Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME) to battle the Greyhounds in a D South contest on Friday, September 26. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Lisbon lost 51-6 in their recent league contest against Winthrop (Winthrop, ME)

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a D South contest, on Friday, September 26. Mountain Valley will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Shipbuilders enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 22-14 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME).
