Maine High School Football - Freeport prevails Mountain Valley

In Friday's league match, the visiting Freeport Falcons football squad scored a good 31-14 triumph over the Mountain Valley Falcons.

With the win, Freeport improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons host Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Medomak Valley won 30-28 in their recent league battle against Old Town (Old Town, ME)

The Falcons now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Winthrop for a D South match on Thursday, September 11. Mountain Valley will meet a Ramblers squad coming off a 28-12 non-league win over Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-0.
