Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jasmine White and Avery Smiley Lead Windsor to Victory

Windsor won the last time they faced Greeley West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wizards blew past the Spartans 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wizards.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Windsor took every set by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 25-7, 25-4.

Windsor was led to victory by Avery Smiley and Jasmine White. Smiley had nine digs and seven aces, while White had 15 assists and eight digs. Those seven aces gave Smiley a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

Windsor's record now sits at 14-5. As for Greeley West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-21 record this season.

Windsor will be playing in front of their home fans against Legend at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Greeley West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
