Soccer Game Preview: Fairmont vs. Springboro

Fairmont hasn't had much luck against Springboro recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Firebirds will square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Fairmont is headed into Tuesday's match following a draw, the team's first since August 23. They and Loveland finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday. Fairmont had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Grey Danner and Bienvenu Niyonkuru were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Meanwhile, Springboro waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Raptors. Rowen Arnold was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Springboro's win bumped their record up to 12-2-2. With that draw, Fairmont's record moves to 12-3-2.
