Soccer Recap: Union Mine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Florin last Friday, Union Mine came back down to earth. The Union Mine Diamondbacks came up short against the Liberty Ranch Hawks on Friday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Diamondbacks in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Union Mine's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-1. As for Liberty Ranch, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3-1.

Union Mine will be home for the holidays to greet Argonaut at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Liberty Ranch, they are taking a road trip to square off against Amador at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
