Waterford's game on Thursday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 31-26 win over the Denair Coyotes. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Coyotes back in January, they had to take a 40-38 loss.

Several Coyotes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Piper Northcutt, who posted five points and 15 boards. Northcutt has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 14 times she's played. Leslie Barerra was another key player, putting up three points and 12 boards.

Waterford's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Denair, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Waterford will head out to square off against Stone Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Denair has already played their next match (against Gustine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
