Albuquerque Academy pushed their record up to 9-5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Hope Christian, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7-1.
