Basketball Game Preview: Central Dragons vs. Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers

The Central Dragons will take on the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Central came up short against Bellwood-Antis and fell 55-46.

Meanwhile, Westmont Hilltop was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 40-35 to Bishop Carroll. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Huskies are ranked 89th).

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Westmont Hilltop, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.
