Soccer Recap: Claremont Find Success

Claremont played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against the Ayala Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. This was payback for the Wolfpack, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

They hit Ayala with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexis Dazalla (2), Sophia Sink, and Mia Flores.

Claremont's win bumped their record up to 6-2-4. As for Ayala, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Claremont and Ayala should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Claremont (ranked 101st) will meet Diamond Bar (ranked 749th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Ayala will face off against Bonita at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday up 220 places (118 vs. 338).
