Softball Game Preview: Chinle Wildcats vs. Monument Valley Mustangs

The Chinle Wildcats will challenge the Monument Valley Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chinle came up short against St. Johns on Thursday, falling 20-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley lost 16-10 to Window Rock on Friday.

Monument Valley got a massive performance out of Meya-Raye Bahe, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Nannabah Haskan was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Chinle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Monument Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
