Marais des Cygnes Valley came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hartford Jaguars. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Emily Criqui paced Marais des Cygnes Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Criqui got some help from Kadence Masenthin and her 11 assists. Akyra Michelle Traver controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Marais des Cygnes Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Hartford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Marais des Cygnes Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Lebo on Tuesday. As for Hartford, they will head out on the road to challenge Chase County on Saturday.
