Softball Recap: ThunderRidge Grizzlies vs. Rock Canyon Jaguars

After flying high against Douglas County last Wednesday, ThunderRidge came back down to earth. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Rock Canyon Jaguars by a score of 11-10 on Monday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Samantha Oliver stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Conant, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

ThunderRidge has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
