Baseball Game Preview: Lakeview Academy Lions vs. Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights

Lakeview Academy is 0-6 against Bethlehem Christian Academy since April of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Lions will look to defend their home field against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Lakeview Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Lakeview Academy's victory against Loganville Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lakeview Academy skirted past Loganville Christian Academy 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Lakeview Academy has posted since March 17th.

Hunter Williams was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavarus Dowdy, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Lakeview Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Bethlehem Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sayre.

Bethlehem Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lakeview Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Lakeview Academy suffered a grim 16-6 defeat to Bethlehem Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
