Millard North faced Bellevue East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Chieftains 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jadyn Pokorny was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Millard North's victory bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Bellevue East, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 19-9 record.

Millard North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-0 win against Omaha Westside on the 30th. As for Bellevue East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Omaha North on the 30th.
