Softball Recap: Hobart Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Hobart kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 4-1 to the Leedey Bison. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Leedey's victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Hobart will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hooker at 1:00 p.m. on September 18. As for Leedey, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Binger-Oney on the 19th.
