Football Game Preview: Highland Park Scots vs. Minneapolis Southwest Lakers + How To Watch

The Highland Park Scots will be playing at home against the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Highland Park barely beat St. Paul Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scots simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Minutemen 48-7. Considering the Scots have won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Minneapolis Southwest waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Millers by a score of 28-21. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Lakers were the better team in the second half.

Minneapolis Southwest now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Highland Park, their record now sits at 3-4.

Highland Park beat Minneapolis Southwest 29-20 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Scots repeat their success, or do the Lakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
