The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons will challenge the Alameda Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop O'Dowd is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.9 goals per game this season.

Bishop O'Dowd proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Castro Valley a 1-0 shutout. Bishop O'Dowd haven't had any issues with Castro Valley recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bishop O'Dowd's one-goal win came courtesy of Kiana Lee Olsen, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Alameda was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Encinal by a score of 4-2. Considering Alameda's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Alameda back to even at 7-7. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
