Baseball Game Preview: Fellowship Christian Paladins vs. St. Francis Knights

Fellowship Christian is 9-1 against St. Francis since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Fellowship Christian Paladins will host the St. Francis Knights at 4:30 p.m. Fellowship Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

While Fellowship Christian's win against Whitefield Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Fellowship Christian skirted past Whitefield Academy 9-7. The victory continues a trend for the Paladins in their matchups with the WolfPack: they've now won five in a row.

Harry Gardner looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Fellowship Christian got a massive performance out of Tristan Costoulas, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Costoulas is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Reid Harke, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, St. Francis lost 13-3 to The King's Academy on Wednesday.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Fellowship Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Fellowship Christian skirted past St. Francis 6-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Fellowship Christian repeat their success, or does St. Francis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
