Softball Recap: Kirkwood Comes Up Short

Kirkwood fell victim to Fox and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The game marked the first time this season in which the Pioneers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Kirkwood and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Fox, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3.

Coming up, Kirkwood will challenge Affton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkway North at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
