Maeli Kubicek posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. She struck out 14 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Kubicek and Milford will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Syracuse, where first pitch is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. The Eagles are a perfect 9-0 against the Rockets going back to August of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
