Pike County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Westside Seminoles a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Pike County's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Westside, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pike County will venture away from home to challenge Prince Avenue Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westside, they will head out to take on Rutland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
