Football Recap: Elite Eagles vs. Galt Warriors
Elite's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Galt Warriors 34-14. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Elite was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Nick Pena and Pedro Ramos certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Pena rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown, while Ramos rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown.
The victory got Elite back to even at 1-1. As for Galt, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
