The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks will head out to face off against the Westview Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert Sunrise will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Desert Sunrise is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 55-6 victory over Kofa. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Desert Sunrise got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ky'Jaun McCutcheon out in front who picked up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave McCutcheon a new career-high. Aime Lamour handled things on the ground, rushing for 88 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Desert Sunrise didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Pharell Hollister picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Desert Sunrise received some extra help from CJ Smith, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, Westview lost 41-20 to Agua Fria on Friday.

Desert Sunrise's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Westview, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
