Baseball Recap: Franklin Towne Comes Up Short

The Franklin Towne Warriors came up short against Friends' Central on Wednesday and fell 11-6. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly five runs.

Franklin Towne got a big performance out of Jayden Ocasio, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ocasio is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Matthew Lawless was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Franklin Towne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Friends' Central, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Franklin Towne will take on Frankford at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Friends' Central, they will face off against Masterman at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
