Soccer Recap: Littlerock's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Littlerock waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Burroughs Burros. Given the Lobos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Burros are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leilani Bravo and Sophia Caballero scored all three of Littlerock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Littlerock pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Burroughs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ontario the next time they take the pitch. Burroughs will head out to face Ontario at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, while Littlerock will play them later in the day, at 10:10 a.m.
