Soccer Game Preview: Grace vs. Thacher

The Grace Lancers will challenge the Thacher Toads at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Grace and Cate have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Lancers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rams. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Grace were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Thacher's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to Del Sol. While losing is never fun, Thacher can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 800th, while Del Sol are ranked 357th).

Grace's win bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Thacher, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-5.
