Softball Recap: Lawton-Bronson Takes a Loss

The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Lawton-Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Woodbury Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Lawton-Bronson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 defeat against Akron-Westfield on the 27th. As for Woodbury Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-14 win against Sioux City East on the 27th.
