Pickens had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the LaGrange Grangers 8-1 on Thursday. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Pickens' victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 31-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for LaGrange, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-15.

As of now, neither Pickens nor the Grangers have any future games scheduled.
