Jones County put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the McDonough Warhawks a 14-0 shutout. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Jones County's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for McDonough, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Looking ahead, Jones County will welcome Glynn Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McDonough, they will venture away from home to challenge Tri-Cities at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.6 runs per game on average), something the Warhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
