Baseball Recap: Savannah Comes Up Short

Savannah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Jenkins County War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 on Wednesday.

Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Jenkins County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-14.

Coincidentally, Savannah and Jenkins County will both be playing McIntosh County Academy the next time they take the field. The War Eagles will head out to face the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bluejackets will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
