Softball Game Preview: Richmond Hill Wildcats vs. Camden County Wildcats

For the second straight game, Richmond Hill will face off against Camden County. Richmond Hill will square off against Camden County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richmond Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

While Richmond Hill's victory against Camden County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Richmond Hill skirted past Camden County 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Richmond Hill has posted against Camden County since August 30, 2022.

Not much got past A Williams, who gave up just seven hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Camden County off the board.

On the hitting side, Lily Welch was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Richmond Hill lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Richmond Hill's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Camden County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
