Soccer Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon lost against Cosumnes Oaks back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sheldon Huskies came up short against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 768th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 230th).

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Cosumnes Oaks, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Franklin the next time they take the pitch. Cosumnes Oaks will head out to face Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sheldon will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
