Soccer Recap: LaGrange Takes a Loss

LaGrange lost against East Coweta back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grangers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that LaGrange have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jordy Abelardo, which was the first he's scored this season.

LaGrange has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for East Coweta, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaGrange will host Fayette County at 7:55 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange are facing Fayette County at the right time seeing as Fayette County are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for East Coweta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mill Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
