Sacred Heart Prep picks up seventh straight win at home

The Sacred Heart Prep Gators entered their tilt with the Harker Eagles with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Sacred Heart Prep's defense stepped up to hand Harker a 4-0 shutout on Friday. Sacred Heart Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight games by three goals or more this season.
Sacred Heart Prep's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven matchups. As for Harker, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-2 record this season.
Sacred Heart Prep will square off against Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Sacred Heart Prep is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in California (they are ranked 94th, while Notre Dame is ranked 388th). As for Harker, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win vs. Notre Dame on the 12th.
