It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Allatoona can now relate to. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blessed Trinity Titans on Tuesday. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their 24-game winning streak.

Cooper Underwood was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

Allatoona's defeat dropped their record down to 33-4. As for Blessed Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-8 record this season.

While Allatoona had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
