Basketball Recap: Charleroi Takes a Loss

Charleroi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Seton LaSalle Rebels 70-12. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Charleroi's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Seton LaSalle, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

When Charleroi and Seton LaSalle next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Charleroi will try to stop Frazier's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Seton LaSalle will take on Waynesburg Central and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
