The Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Mt. Pleasant 53-15. Yerba Buena was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mt. Pleasant apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Snowe DeLeon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mt. Pleasant, scoring 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josefina Nyquist, who scored seven points.

Yerba Buena's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mt. Pleasant, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

Yerba Buena will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to take on Overfelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
