Basketball Recap: Valley View Starts Season with Win Against Pocono Mountain West

Valley View had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Pocono Mountain West Panthers 60-18. With the Cougars ahead 33-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Looking ahead, Valley View will face off against Dunmore at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Pocono Mountain West, they will welcome East Stroudsburg South at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
